Okay, so we all know about Barton Street nick turning up in the Beeb Doctor Who novels, and the strange frequency with which the name "D.I. Worrell" turns up (e.g. Bodyguards and Waking the Dead... DI Worrell=Di Worrell, geddit). Any others? Send us your favourites. (NB: We're talking namespots or visual jokes, that sort of thing... pop culture references which go a bit further than 'er off Corrie asking 'im with the chip shop if he watched TB last night). Here's a lovely one from 2002: The Jury, episode one (the bit of it I don't actually have on tape, wouldn't you know! which also features Chris Humphreys, damn and blast it... all I've got is the credit). Many many thanks to Richard who tipped me off about this three years ago, and whoever it was — I think it was either Chief or Sierra1? — who sent in ye olde actual pics... Sorry about the delay boys; to tell the truth I'd forgotten all about it. I gather this cap is taken from the point at which The Powers That Be are selecting the jury. Dunno about you but I can see fourteen very, very familiar names (even if one is slightly misspelt) ;-D. The street names may also ring a few bells.
